Is there power and a charging plan?
Electric machines work shifts and charge between them. Pick the outlet the machine will use, confirm it is live and reachable from where the machine parks overnight, and account for cold spaces slowing charge times. Engine machines need a fueling answer instead: who fuels it, with what, and where it is stored. A dead machine on the second morning is the most avoidable downtime in the rental business.
Who is running the machine?
Aerial work platforms require trained, authorized operators under OSHA and the ANSI A92 standards, with familiarization on the specific model, and boom lifts add personal fall protection in the platform. Telehandlers fall under the powered industrial truck rules with their own certification. Sort this out the week before, not the morning of: know who on the crew is covered for this machine class, and if the answer is nobody, ask about training resources when you book.
